The Nature Protection and Tourism
Club (Romanian: Clubul pentru Protecţia Naturii şi Turism) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization from Braşov, Romania, involved in environmental protection and ecological tourism activities, but also mountain related sports like mountaineering, rock climbing, orienteering or speleology.
CPNT has been active since 1973 and at this time it has 50 volunteer members, mainly students of Transilvania University of Braşov. They are active members of the association and get involved in ecological activities and also in mountaineering activities (such as competitions, camps).
The most recent activities have been concentrated around the ecological education of the citizens of Braşov. They also organize mountaineering schools, climbing courses or camps for repairing damaged mountain trails.
